About Me
Amy C. Williams is a writer in Kansas. While she prefers writing novel-length fiction, she has had the most success playwriting in the form of skits and full-length productions. She is a full-time copywriter and web content specialist for a global plumbing, heating and pipe-joining company headquartered in Wichita, Kan.
She graduated from Wichita State University in May 2005 with a degree in communication, emphasis print journalism, and a minor in creative writing. She has just completed a correspondence course through the Long Ridge Writers Group out of Connecticut.
In what free time she has, she writes skits for her church, NewSpring Church of Wichita, Kan. and pursues publication of the novels she has written. She also edits and proofreads materials ranging from high school research papers to presentations from the dean of a university library.
Amy consistently maintains a devotional blog, AlwaysPeachy, where she posts her thoughts on daily Bible verses. And you can find her on Facebook too.
She has taught creative writing classes for jr. high and high school age students, and she directed a high school drama team for six years, writing all the material they performed on stage. Numerous skits she has written have been performed on stage and broadcast over television and the internet.
Amy is single and lives in her family’s 100-year-old farmhouse on five acres in the middle of the Kansas prairie. She loves cats and drinks far too much coffee.
